About Kayla
Hello! My name is Kayla, and I'm an undergraduate student studying law and history at the University of Toronto! I am also a researcher and a published creative writer (poetry/prose)! I have years of refined experience creating written pieces of all genres and degrees of formality. Regardless of whether you've been assigned a research paper, essay, analysis, article, poem or creative writing piece, I am confident I will be able to help you!
I have tutored for roughly three years now, and my students have varied in age from 7-19 years old. I make sure I understand the needs and capabilities of my students and tailor every lessons to suit every individual!
I am a friendly and approachable person, and I am always happy to answer questions and address concerns outside of designated tutoring times! Feel free to reach out!

-I have also published poetry and prose within the school. Whether you're looking for help with reading comprehension, creative writing, persuasive writing or more formal modes of literacy, I am here to help!
-My lessons are structured and planned beforehand to allow for smooth sailing, and I always tailor them to meet the needs of each particular student. If students have assignments or deadlines, I will structure my lessons to help prepare for these more specific skills and needs.
-While I typically tutor high schoolers, I'd be willing to help anyone looking for a tutor that falls within any age group!
