About Peter
I know how to make your writing better, how to find the important elements and highlight them, how to make the text flow easily, and how to ground arguments in research.
I've worked as a freelance journalist, with articles and features published in the Tyee, Vancouver magazine, Maison Neuve, the Vancouver Sun, the Globe and Mail and WIRED.
My published fiction includes science fiction, fantasy, horror and erotica. I've participated in writer's workshops with professional authors.
In 2018, I published my book on the history of sexuality, "A Lover's Pinch".

My tutoring is for secondary or post-secondary students who need help with essays or creative writing, including ESL students
I provide 1 hour sessions for helping you outline your essay and your research, followed by one or two sessions of helping you revise it. I provide commented MS Word files.
My writing experience runs from journalism to academic writing to fiction. I also have a BA in History and published a history book in 2018.
