About Taletha
I'm Taletha Lee, a published author and communication coach based in Pittsburgh, PA. Before founding my own coaching practice, I spent over two decades in public service, work that demanded precision, patience, and the ability to communicate clearly under pressure — skills that carry directly into how I teach. I'm also the author of a book on respectful, effective communication, and I built my teaching approach around a simple belief: everyone deserves to speak with confidence, not just correctness. I bring a grounded, patient, and non-judgmental style to every lesson. There's no rush and no judgment here — just steady, practical coaching from someone who has spent years helping people find their voice. Whether you're brushing up for work, preparing for a big conversation, or just tired of holding back, I'm here to help you get there at your own pace.

My approach is practical, not textbook-driven. I teach American English the way it's actually used — in conversations, workplaces, interviews, and everyday situations — so what you learn shows up immediately in real life. A typical lesson starts with a short review of what's working and what's tripping you up, moves into focused practice on pronunciation, phrasing, or conversation flow depending on your goals, and ends with real-world application, like role-playing a meeting or interview. What sets me apart is my background: I'm a published author and communication coach who has spent years helping adults speak with more clarity and confidence, so lessons go beyond grammar into how you actually come across. I especially love working with people who go quiet in group settings — at work, in social circles, at family gatherings — because they're second-guessing their English instead of just joining in. My goal is to get you past that hesitation, so you can jump into a conversation without rehearsing it in your head first. My lessons are best suited for adult learners — professionals, job seekers, or anyone who wants to speak up with confidence instead of sitting on the sidelines of their own conversations, at beginner through advanced levels.
