About Lucas

If there's one thing I understand, it's performance anxiety. For many years I struggled with intense anxiety and self-doubt. Standing in front of an audience, speaking in public, or walking into an audition room was extremely challenging for me. I would let it run my day and sometimes even my week. Yet I refused to let anxiety dictate what I could or couldn't accomplish.

Since graduating from Dawson College's Professional Theater Program, I have performed in over 40 stage productions and worked professionally in theater, film, television, and video games. My credits include appearances in the movie Arrival, television productions, and voice and performance work in video games. Throughout my career, I have completed countless auditions, performed in front of audiences of all sizes, and continued to challenge myself despite feeling nervous at times.

What I learned is that confidence is not something you're born with—it's something you build through practice, experience, and the willingness to take action even when you're uncomfortable. Anxiety doesn't have to disappear before you can succeed.

Whether you're preparing for a presentation, a job interview, an audition, or simply want to become more comfortable speaking in front of others, I can help you develop practical skills and a stronger mindset. My goal is not only to help you become a better speaker, but to help you trust yourself, communicate authentically, and discover confidence that extends far beyond the stage.

About the lesson

These lessons are designed to help you become a more confident, engaging, and effective speaker. Whether you're preparing for a presentation, job interview, speech, meeting, or simply want to feel more comfortable speaking in front of others, sessions will be tailored to your specific goals.

Drawing on my experience as a professional actor, teacher, and coach, I use techniques from theater, communication, and performance training to help you improve your voice, body language, presence, and confidence. Together, we will work on managing nerves, organizing your thoughts, and developing the mindset needed to communicate clearly and authentically. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you can build skills, overcome self-doubt, and become the speaker you want to be.
