About Thato

I'm Coach Thato, a public speaking and leadership coach based in Johannesburg, and Past Division Director for Toastmasters Botswana & Namibia (2020).

For 10+ years I've coached over 100 speakers — from nervous students to entrepreneurs pitching their business. I know what it feels like to have a great idea but not have the words or confidence to share it.

I teach because I love that moment when someone goes from shaking to owning the room. There is nothing like seeing a client nail their interview or presentation after we worked together.

I run my own online coaching practice, Thatotalks, and I bring a warm, practical, no-fluff approach. No boring theory — just tools that work when nerves hit.

About the lesson

My lessons are not about theory — they are about YOUR next talk, PRACTICALLY!

Whether you have a job interview on Monday, a work presentation next week, or you freeze when you need to speak up in meetings, I build the 60-min session around your exact situation.

We start with your story or talk, I help you structure it so it flows, then we practise delivery — voice, body language, and how to handle nerves. You leave with a clear script, confidence techniques you can use immediately.

I am warm, practical, no fluff. If you are nervous, I get it — I help you turn that nervous energy into a powerful message.

First session is diagnostic — we fix your biggest block right away.
