About RRandy
I was born and raised in central Illinois, went to Illinois Wesleyan University then my junior and senior years at Silliman University in the Philippines (BA) then on to Yale University Divinity School for my Master's degree. My professional career as a pastor and an executive of an international mission board was based in New York City and Connecticut. I am married and the father of five children and have worked with students for many years. Having been to 96 countries speaking to small groups as well as very large audiences, I maintain a global perspective, follow current events and connect them to history. I have written many letters of recommendation for students who pursue their dreams. I appreciate team work, love Florida and always enjoy meeting new people!

Having a patient, supportive nonjudgmental presence, I first listen to the particular struggles and dreams of each student of whatever age then design a hands-on, interactive lesson plan which takes into account pending exams, papers and projects. Attention is given to motivation, time management, and study habits in addition to academic content. Anxiety-reduction and confidence-building are post-pandemic goals leading to actual enjoyment in academic achievement. Father of five who has travelled to 96 countries on 6 continents.
