About Jennifer
I am a visual person. I like to use pictures. I believe students retain information more efficiently when it is written in their own words. Repetition and practice will always be necessary for long-term retention. I like to use songs, dances, and catchphrases to enhance the memory of the many medical and anatomical terms needed in a physical therapy assistant, occupational therapy assistant, or medical education realm.

I have spent the last 4 years teaching pathophysiology, functional anatomy, and neurological rehabilitation in a physical therapy assistant program. The program I teach in is an accelerated program, which requires the information to be simple, basic, and easy to understand.
