About Sophie
I am currently a university student. I have been privately tutoring for 2 years and have taught approximately 6 students. I have taught GCSE content before but am willing to teach A level content if that's what you require. I got all grades 7-9 (A-A**) at GCSE and grades A*BB in my A levels ( A* in psychology , B's in both Chemistry and Biology ) . I also did AS level maths. I used to attend a grammar school prior to attending university.

I base my classes on what my student wants to learn. Prior to the session I ask them what topic they want to study and then go through worked examples as well as worksheets and assessments. If the student thinks it will benefit them i do give the option of me setting them a homework task just to really solidify their learning. Over lockdown i have been tutoring online. I follow a similar structure but i just email any work sheets or assessments we will be using in the sessions. I love tutoring as it's a lovely way to help people and allow them to reach their full potential.
