About Alex
I am a junior at the University of Kansas studying Psychology and Applied Behavior Science. I have been helping friends and family members get through stressful situations for over 7 years now by allowing them to explain/vent about the situation they are finding stressful and then come up with a way or ways to overcome said situation together.

My teaching method begins by breaking down the issue into smaller issues, finding solutions to those smaller issues, and then finding a solution to all of the issues as a whole. Being a psychology student, I am able to break down situations and analyze them from an outside perspective and use my knowledge to create solutions.

Details
If a student finds it necessary to cancel an appointment, I ask they do so no less than one hour of our scheduled time. I will allow a student to do a session over the phone if they are more comfortable doing so. I am a strong believer in meeting in coffee shops for a session as well as (weather permitting of course) parks and/or any outside area.
