About Sasha
Currently I work as a Coordinator of Healthy Child Development at a not-for-profit organization. I have years of experience providing activities and lesson plans within my field and am quite comfortable working with youth.
In school, I had quite an affinity for math and it came to me easily. I’ve always said that I have a math brain and I just solve problems in a way that makes math come naturally to me. That being said, I know this isn’t the case for everyone and that we are all smart in our own ways so its up to me to find out how your strengths can be used to develop your competency in mathematics.

As a psychology graduate, I’m all about meeting people where they’re at and learning to work with their learning style.
Personally, I’ve always learned well with lots of visuals and examples so that’s my strength but I am also quite comfortable approaching it from a more theoretical point of view as I have quite an analytic mind.
Most of my tutoring experience is with students grade 8-10, many of whom have ADHD and ADD so I understand remaining attentive can be half the battle. I also did some tutoring in my university statistics courses so I am comfortable teaching at a higher level as well.
