About Katie
With my 2 years tutoring experience, I found a thrill in teaching students and finding different ways to help them understand difficult topics. I also have a year of experience working on a Psychology Research Study (Kings College London), allowing my lessons to easily be applied to real life scenarios, helping students gage a wider understanding of complex topics. I hope to share my knowledge and learn from students too with in depth presentations and discussions on the topic.

My lessons are engaging and interactive which will be tailored to the students focus areas / learning style. Most lessons will be based from my own powerpoints which are full of fun graphics and heavily retrieval practise based to ensure a deeper level of understanding is reached. All powerpoints will be paired with a summary flashcard for the student as well as practise questions for the student to be guided through. The lessons will usually range from 60-90 minutes, although this can be flexible with the student’s requirements.
