About Ola

I am a graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I have recently moved from the UK to Dubai and I am fluent in English, Arabic and Farsi. I have tutored privately in the UK but also have done one-on-one teaching sessions in school environments.

About the lesson

Techniques and Teaching Methodology: My teaching approach is student-centered and interactive. I focus on creating a supportive environment where students feel confident to ask questions and actively engage with the material. I use a combination of visual aids, discussions, and practical exercises to suit different learning styles. I also encourage critical thinking and reflection to help students develop independent learning skills. Typical Length of a Lesson: A typical lesson lasts around 60 minutes, though I adapt the length based on the student’s needs, attention span, and progress. For younger learners or intensive study sessions, lessons can be adjusted between 45–90 minutes. Qualifications and Experience as a Tutor: I hold a BSc in Psychology and have worked in both public and private schools in the UK, supporting children with diverse educational and behavioral needs, including those with SEN. I have experience providing one-on-one and small group support, helping students build confidence and achieve measurable progress. Who My Lessons Are For: My lessons are designed for school-age students (ages 3-12) who may need extra academic or behavioral support, as well as young adults seeking to improve their study habits, focus, and self-motivation. I tailor each session to the learner’s individual goals and abilities.
