About Ashlee

I am an enthusiastic teacher with over five years of experience in both academic and arts education.

Though I thoroughly enjoy my new career, working within Children's Television, I miss teaching students full-time. As a result, I would love to become your child's online tutor and support their learning.

I'll begin a master's in 'The Psychology of Education' in September 2026.

- Full-time Primary School teaching experience
- Online GCSE English, KS3 Maths tutoring experience
- TEFL experience
- 5 years Nursery experience (Montessori, Private and State)
-Reading teacher

Zoom classes and available in the Manchester area.

About the lesson

LESSONS:
I offer 45mins - 1hr sessions. (£15ph)

Each session will be adapted to the needs of the child, however I have included a plan for a 1hr lesson below:

Check-in ~ 5mins: To see how the child is and build a rapport that fosters engagement.

Starter ~ 20mins: Introduce the learning objectives and academic concept. Includes examples with the child working performing some assisted examples.

Main ~ 25mins: Set the child questions to do independently. Checking in when they need help.

Plenary ~ 10mins: Check the lesson's work. Review lesson objectives.

Check-out: Goodbyes. Set homework (Optional) and let the parent

As national reading levels are low, I offer a Summer Reading Top-Up sessions. Your child will receive 2x30mins sessions with me (totalling £16 a week). The session will include:
- a check-in
- 20mins of reading to me
- 10minutes of comprehension discussion.
