About August
Hi! My name is August and I am working towards getting my BS in Psychology with a writing minor. I have been passionate about reading my whole life which has fueled my love for writing. While writing has always come easy to me, math used to be a struggle and I love helping others realize that they too can accomplish math at all levels. In high school, I worked as a tutor for reading, writing, and math which gave me several valuable skill sets I use in and out of tutoring. I graduated high school in 2022 with honors and college credits and am now pursuing higher education at Concordia University on academic scholarship. I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your academic goals!

I started tutoring in math and reading while in freshman in high school and fell in love with helping people realize their academic potential. I strongly believe that understanding someone's learning type is essential in order to best help them learn and grow in any subject matter. As a result, I do my best to get to know how someone learns when working with them so that they can learn the most effectively. I have worked with children of all ages and specialize in helping with math from an elementary level to Algebra II, reading, writing, and tutoring in English for all grades up through high school.
