About Isabella
My name is Isabella, and I am a second-year student at Queen's University in Kingston. I love reading, writing, and playing strategic board games. I graduated high school a semester early and with an average above 90% in 9 University level courses and have finished my first year of University with a 3.7 GPA. Although I grew up mostly speaking English at home and in social and professional settings, I attended pure French schools for 13 years, which has given me lots of experience in both languages. Feel free to ask me any questions about my schooling!

I find that meeting tutees where they're at in the specific subject is important, initially figuring out their strengths and weaknesses, and working accordingly. A typical lesson plan would include working on what they are currently assigned in school, whether it's a sheet of math problems to solve, French grammar sheets, or an essay, and trying to tackle the core places where the student tends to have trouble by working on the general problem, not solely the one in front of them. This will offer them long-term success. These lessons are for students starting at any age up until the 12th grade, as well as people who want to learn either French or English. As a tutor, I find it important to build personal rapports with the people that I'm tutoring, as I like to foster a better learning environment where people don't feel judged.
