About Ella
My name is Ella and I recently graduated with a degree in Psychology and English Literature. I have tutored for 4+ years, and worked at my university as a Teaching Assistant running classroom sessions twice a week. I love helping others learn, and I am truly passionate about sharing my excitement for effective studying techniques. Combining my background in psychology and evidence-based learning with a passion for English, I am confident I can help you get to where you want to be as a student. - In-depth one-on-one tutoring sessions to help you master course content and skills to succeed in English literature classes; from grammar to creative writing to essay building
- The first lesson will be an intake session to determine your goals and what you want to get out of tutoring. Then, we will co-create a learning plan to ensure those goals are met.
- Besides from learning about course content, I can teach you about the best evidence-based study strategies for note-taking and memorization to make you a stronger student in your future classes.
- Lessons available for Grade 9-12 secondary school students and bachelor-level students enrolled in language, literature, and/or psychology courses
