About Sinoxolo
I'm a student at the University of Free State. I enjoy the academic writing side of English. My approach to tutoring allows students to ask questions freely and without judgement. Because I am young myself, I feel that I can communicate better with my students.
I do not have any formal experience in tutoring, however, my university majors have equipped me with skills that make me confident in my ability to be an excellent tutor. I also help my younger siblings with their homework; and I was quite active and involved in their homeschooling during the lockdown at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic. I also assist my fellow classmates by providing clarity when they do not understand what was said in a lecture.
I passed all my first semester modules, including English Language for The Humanities, with distinctions (i.e. 75% and above final semester mark). So I am quite confident that my knowledge so far would assist you or your child in being more proficient in the English language and academic writing.
I have experience in customer service, so I know how to work with and accommodate different people and personalities. I have also acquired the patience and leniency required to do so.
