About Zara
I have a PhD in Psychology and an MSc in Forensic Psychology. I have been teaching for 8 years and my expertise cover a wide range of psychological areas, with a focus on social, developmental and forensic psychology. I've have taught a variety of class sizes including one-to-one support and larger classes with up to 300 students. My students consistently achieve high grades, and I have supported a number of undergraduates and postgraduates into further study. I also provide research dissertation supervision to undergraduate and Masters students, and supervise a number of PhD students in Psychology. I am also currently a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society.

I teach with a range of methodologies and have experience in large-scale lecture formats and smaller-scale seminar, workshops and labs. I employ a number of digital teaching techniques to provide an engaging experience for my students, and also encourage the use of inquiry-based learning, where students are given the tools to find answers to their questions independently. I also provide research dissertation supervision to undergraduate and Masters students, and supervise a number of PhD students in Psychology.
