About Austin
I have been providing college students with 1-on-1 / group tutoring for statistics and other college level math for 2 years.
I graduated with a Bachelor's in Psychology with a focus on Neuroscience, Behaviorism and Cognition, with a particular interest in concepts of Metacognition, or, how the brain learns.
I have also been mentoring incoming freshman to the University on how to acclimate to the college environment in order to succeed at meeting the students' goals.

I prefer 1-on-1 tutoring so that I can get to know the student and understand their strengths and weaknesses when it comes to learning a particular concept. This allows me to hone in on areas that the student struggles with, and provide step-by-step instruction on solving example problems that lead the student to gain confidence in their own abilities with equations and problem solving.
