About Leah
I have really enjoyed learning BSL and would love to help others become passionate in their pursuit of accessibility and learning a new language. I mainly work from home, so I have a flexible schedule. I have lived in Oxford for seven years and did my BSL courses here too! I have lots of tips and tricks through the years I have spent learning sign and engaging with the Deaf community.

I want to find an approach that works for you. Sign is great for visual learners. As someone who is dyslexic, I am used to adjusting learning approaches to fit the way my brain works, so I would evaluate what works best for you. BSL exams are hard, but practice and having a confident, expressive approach to your signing is really important. We can work on hand shape, fingerspelling, signs, Deaf culture, history and education topics in a way that will be memorable and fun!
