About SHANTHI

Dear students,
I'm Professor SHANTHI, basically a biologist, specialization in Microbiology having 25 plus years of teaching and research experience B.Sc, M.Sc, M.Phil and Ph.D levels. I am fond of teaching school students too because if the foundation is good for them, they can excel in their career. I have obtained 3 PATENTS, DEVELOPED 2 PRODUCTS from my research. Authored 3 BOOKS in Molecular biology, herbs and in biotechnology. I am an expert in molecular biology, Microbial genetics, Biotechnology, general microbiology, vermicomposting, mushroom cultivation, organic farming, etc.
As a Research Supervisor I have guided 1 Ph.D, 30 M.Phil and 123 M.Sc students to get their degree.
Published 40 RESEARCH ARTICLES in reputed journals, acted as a resource person in more than 20 programs and consultant in the above fields and generated FUNDS around 6,00,000 rupees.
Worked as Deputy Director, Grants & Partnership in KAMPALA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY, UGANDA for 3 years and trained more than 500 STUDENTS and 200 STAFF MEMBERS on" GRANTS WRITING"
As a team member, guided the submission of 200 projects to different funding agencies including WHO, UNESCO, RSTMH, CANCER FOUNDATION, PHYSIOLOGY SOCIETY OF LONDON, HORIZON EUROPEAN GRANTS etc. students and staff have WON several projects.
Guided the STUDENTS on SCHOLARSHIPS and FELLOWSHIP offered by different universities and funding agencies ALL OVER THE WORLD.
With this experience and expertise Now I would like to share this knowledge with the young generation who are the pillars of our future world.

About the lesson

I can make my students understand the concept very clearly because I teach them the basics first followed by the advanced level with apt illustrations, video clippings, self diagrams which are clearly received and recorded in their mind and helpful in their exams as well as in their future wherever it is required.
I repeat the concepts till they understand, and provide them valuable tips to get high scores in their exams.
