I have been an associate professor for 15 years, teaching on 3 continents to thousands of students. My students tend to achieve high marks, as I push them into learning the fundamentals well, and through practice, the material becomes second nature to them.

I have 3 undergraduate degrees: Biochemistry, Neurophysiology, and Computer Science. I completed all the coursework for a Masters in Pharmacology, and completed my PhD in Computational Neuroscience. I love teaching science, and I use a very hand on approach, which is student centered and proceed at the pace which is most comfortable to students. I am patient, and enthusiastic, and really try to help students learn the material - not just memorize. A true understanding of the scientific principles, and practice applying them is how I like to teach. Science rules - math, computing, neuroscience, and AI are the forefront of our future - and passing that sentiment AND knowledge onto students is what teaching is all about!

Details
Typically, I charge 50$/hr, and I do charge for travel time (a flat rate of 20$/hr). If we can skype, then my rate will be reduced slightly, to approximately 40$/hr. What does help is volume: I like to work with a student at least 6 hr/month, meeting weekly.
