About Leah
I am a Professor in Animation, as well as a freelance animator, who has worked on several animations, including; Space Jam: A New Legacy, Toto (as a Concept Artist), Skull Island: The Animated Series, and X-Men '97 as a Lead Animator. I have been a professional for 6 years, and have 7 years of teaching experience. I have a Master's Degree in Design with a focus in Animation. I currently work at Columbus College of Art and Design, where I teach 2D Animation Techniques, 2D Character Animation and Storyboard. I am also working on my second animated short (TBA).

My approach to animation starts more with the traditional underlying basics of drawing, then working their way up to understanding animation principles such as timing, spacing, utilizing timecharts and how to use those in real life production settings. Because I have experience in the industry, I am capable of showing students a piece of what it's like to work on a full scale production. These lessons can be taught to any age if they're willing to put in the work.
