About William
My name is William and I live in a beautiful coastal city of Cape Town in South Africa.
I have a degree in English as well as a professional teachers' diploma. I also completed an accredited TEFL qualification.
I have many years of experience teaching English at both high school and tertiary levels.
I strive to make my lessons interesting and enjoyable by always relating lesson content to real life experiences.

- I am qualified to teach English online to senior high school students and adult students.
- I prefer a student-centred approach based on my belief that
language skills are acquired by using the language and not by studying various aspects of the target language.
- I start off with a new student by establishing his or her existing ability. This knowledge informs my initial approach on the learning journey with the particular student.
My teaching methodology is grounded in Constructivism, which implies that my students are always actively involved in the learning process.
I also teach the part-disciplines of Education such as: Didactics, Sociology of Education, History of Education, Psychology of Education and Philosophy of Education.
I have an Honours degree in History and can teach the subject to high school students and to under-graduates at university level.
