About James
As well as being a licensed teacher in K-6 with middle school/high school endorsements, I have taught for different tutoring companies as well. I bring engaging lessons and activities to the students I teach and tutor to ensure growth. I am a big fan of doing projects as well as traditional types of assessments to give students the best chance at succeeding.

I use the standard "I do, We do, You do" to gradually empower students to be able to complete the skill on their own. I will start the student off with a warmup, then we will discuss/practice the skill using different manipulatives, and lastly, the student will be given examples to try while the teacher observes and offers feedback. I believe that the variety of experiences I have as a teacher has allowed me to pool different resources together, enhancing the students' experiences. The math that would be tutored would be elementary education level.
