About Jed
I'm a professional copywriter who has worked as a journalist, technical writer, culture critic, and marketing specialist. I'm also a touring musician, recording engineer, and producer, with years of experience teaching music theory, guitar, drums, and bass guitar for adults and children.
I'm currently based in Western Massachusetts after living in NYC for 22 years and am pursuing a Master of Social Work degree.

My teaching style includes pulling from real-life examples of excellent writing in all forms of media, allowing students to connect their learning to the outside world, and teaching them systems instead of rote memorization.
I'm an easygoing but detail-oriented teacher used to an extremely diverse environment where the personal needs of each student can be drastically different.
I've worked extensively with both adults and children, from professionals to creatives to people simply looking to improve their writing and reading comprehension.
