About Danny
I have been a vocal coach for 16 years working with beginners to professionals. A talented, diverse experienced singer/songwriter, musician and teacher. I studied opera at The Ester Boyer School Of Music at Temple University in Philadelphia. I have sung for The Delaware Valley Opera Co. and performed in musical theatre. Aside from classic study and performance, I am a rock and roller at heart. I have been in original rock bands throughout my life. I have also worked in electronic, country, R&B, jazz and country. I play piano, guitar and bass. My mantra in life and as a teacher is C.B.S. Which stands for, consistency breeds success. I don't believe in the word perfect. I teach my students that mistakes are a thing of beauty and how we grow and learn from them. I encourage my students to aim high and go places they didn't think they could. One of my biggest priorities is building confidence and esteem in my students. You can be the best singer but you need those elements to put it out there. I am extremely easy going, fun and energetic and I keep my lessons the same. I take pride in what I am able to give back to my students. It means the world to me to know I am able to have great impact and positivity on my students. My students are and have always been a gift to me. That's how I see it.

Lessons with Danny are about getting consistent not perfect. I don't use the word perfect in my lessons. It's about a positive atmosphere.
We will work on vocal scales and exercises, being relaxed, breathing technique and exercises, posture, performance skills, musical phrasing, diction and exploring different musical styles and what works best for your voice. We will also do ear training to improve pitch.
Learn how to put feeling and emotion into a song. We can also work on songwriting if the student is interested.
One of my main goals is to focus on bringing out your own natural sound, diction and vocal range and not sounding like anyone else. I want to bring out "your" style. Different vocal tones and sounds are why we love different singers. I don't want to change your voice, I want to make the best of what you have been given.
My lessons are about not being afraid to make mistakes. It's 100% relaxed. I keep it fun and light while still working on becoming the singer "you" want to be. I use piano and guitar in my lessons.
