About Nicole

I have over 10 years of teaching experience, including lecturing at universities such as ACM, LCCM, Waterbear and LIPA. I have a degree in Music Performance and an MA in vocal Pedagogy. I can teach all contemporary styles.

Alongside teaching, I have toured the UK and Europe performing with rock band ‘snake eyes’ and regularly perform at weddings and events, as well as having experience in singing in tribute acts and performing backing vocals.

I teach with a student-led approach, creating lessons that are both enjoyable and highly effective. With a strong understanding of vocal anatomy and physiology, I can quickly assess your voice and provide vocal exercises and adjustments to help your singing feel easier, and really bring out the best of your voice.

A typical lesson begins with a guided vocal warm-up, followed by working on a song of your choice (or one I can recommend based on your taste and goals). Technique is developed through both repertoire and targeted exercises, and we finish with a vocal cool-down to support healthy voice use.

I’m happy to teach all ages and experience levels, from complete beginners to advanced singers. Lessons are available in 30, 45, or 60-minute sessions, and I’m happy to advise what lesson length or frequency would be best for you depending on your goals and age.
