About Rafael

I am a professional violinist, multi-instrumentalist, educator, arranger, and composer with a Master's degree from the Rostov-on-Don State Conservatory in Russia. I studied at the Special Music School affiliated with the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory in Moscow. I have lived and worked professionally in the United States for approximately 30 years, performing, teaching, arranging, and working in orchestral, chamber, solo, recording, theatrical, diplomatic, and private events. I perform on both acoustic and electric violin and bring a broad professional perspective, strong classical training, and extensive real-world performance experience to every student I teach.

About the lesson

My lessons are personalized, structured, and engaging, with a strong focus on technical excellence, musical expression, and individual development.

I began my formal musical education at the Special Music School affiliated with the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory in Moscow, Russia, and later earned my Master's degree from the Rostov-on-Don State Conservatory in Russia. I have lived and worked professionally in the United States for approximately 30 years as a violinist, teacher, performer, arranger, and composer.

I teach violin, viola, and piano to students from beginner to advanced levels. My professional experience includes orchestral performance, solo performance, chamber music, arranging, recording, and teaching.
Lessons can include posture and ergonomic technique, bow control, intonation, tone production, scales, repertoire, music theory, sight-reading, and performance preparation. I teach classical, jazz, and folk music and adapt each lesson to the student's individual level, interests, and goals.

I prepare students for recitals, auditions, school performances, examinations, and personal musical development. Advanced students can also receive specialized performance coaching and technical guidance.

My teaching style is encouraging, structured, detail-oriented, creative, and technique-focused. I believe students make the greatest progress when strong traditional technique is combined with personalized instruction, creativity, and a positive learning environment.

Online lessons are available internationally, including students in Dubai and throughout the UAE.
