About Elvina

Hi! My name is Elvina and I am a professional violinist, recently graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree at the Royal College of Music in London.

I have a lot of experience in performing - I participated and won several international competitions, and have performed recitals and concerts in many different concert venues, including the Wigmore Hall in London.

Besides performing, I also have taught in primary school instrumental music workshops and have worked with children in music therapy.

With my experience, I will do my best to help you become great violinists and musicians at all levels and most importantly, through our lessons, I hope you will enjoy the art of music-making and violin playing. It is a lot of fun!

About the lesson

My lessons will be in a 1:1 format, possible both in person and online depending on the student's preference. My teaching methods will be personally tailored to the needs of the student, whether that would be preparing for an exam, concert or just learning for fun.

I have lots of experience in performing solo, chamber music and orchestral music and have great knowledge of the violin repertoire. My goal is for every student to be able to have a holistic musical education, not only just learning how to play the violin, but also learning about music theory/harmony and the historic background of composers and pieces a student is playing. Makes learning a lot more interesting and enjoyable!

I have taught in a few music workshops at London primary schools during my time at the Royal College of Music and I also work and learn at the Benedetti Foundation which focuses on music education.

My lessons are for all ages and levels. Typically, the length of my lessons would be 45 min to an hour. I also offer 30 min lessons for young children and beginners.
