About Hannah

I am a Violin tutor with more than 10 years of teaching experience and have successfully taught over 770 students. My passion is helping learners become confident musicians while developing strong technical skills, artistic expression, and a lifelong appreciation for music.

Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with complete beginners, intermediate learners, advanced performers, examination candidates, orchestra participants, and competition students. This experience allows me to adapt lessons effectively to different learning styles and musical goals.

I believe music education should inspire creativity while building discipline, perseverance, and confidence. Through supportive mentoring and structured instruction, I help students overcome challenges and achieve consistent progress.

Many learners have successfully prepared for performances, examinations, competitions, orchestral opportunities, and advanced musical studies through my guidance. Their achievements continue to motivate my commitment to teaching excellence.

About the lesson

My Violin lessons are designed to help students develop technical accuracy, musical confidence, artistic expression, and performance excellence through a structured and progressive teaching approach. I teach posture, bow control, intonation, finger placement, tone production, rhythm development, sight reading, ear training, music theory, and performance preparation.

Students begin by building strong foundations through correct posture, bowing technique, rhythmic accuracy, listening development, and intonation training. These skills create the framework required for long-term success and confident performance.

As students progress, lessons incorporate vibrato, shifting, advanced bowing patterns, expressive phrasing, musical interpretation, ensemble playing, recital preparation, and advanced repertoire development. Technical exercises and musical pieces are carefully balanced to support complete artistic growth.

I encourage learners to understand music as both a technical discipline and a creative art form. Lessons focus on helping students communicate emotion through performance while developing confidence, discipline, and musical awareness.

Personalized practice plans, continuous feedback, and performance coaching help students improve steadily while achieving meaningful musical progress.
