About Joshua
Teaching violin for 7 years has allowed me to support Teenagers and College Students through practical instruction and encouraging mentorship. Helping learners accomplish meaningful musical milestones continues to inspire my dedication to violin education.
My lessons emphasize posture refinement, bow accuracy, rhythmic awareness, expressive phrasing, notation reading, intonation, and performance preparation. Practical coaching strengthens technical ability while encouraging musical confidence and creative interpretation throughout every lesson.

Every lesson blends structured violin instruction with guided demonstrations and practical performance experiences that strengthen technical ability. Students progress confidently by mastering essential techniques before advancing toward expressive interpretation and increasingly challenging musical repertoire.
Instruction includes bow accuracy, posture refinement, finger placement, rhythmic coordination, scales, shifting, vibrato preparation, sight reading, tone production, intonation, and musical interpretation. Practical exercises strengthen coordination while encouraging confident violin performances.
Constructive coaching, individualized practice plans, and continuous lesson reviews reinforce learning beyond classroom sessions. Personalized assignments strengthen technical foundations, helping students overcome challenges while achieving rewarding and measurable violin progress.
