About Maiah
Hello, my name is Maiah ! I am Asian-Arab and am fluent and proficient in Tagalog (Filipino), Japanese, Korean, Arabic (Saudi Arabian Arabic), Hebrew, French, and Spanish. I have been studying music at a young age and amo now majoring in music performance in college. I auditioned and received a scholarship to play piano and French Horn as part of the college’s music department, and I take lessons weekly. I am highly competitive in my performance, as I practice piano 25-30 hours per week and electric guitar 10-14 hours per week.
Aside from piano, I enjoy knitting, cooking, drawing, and playing my other instruments (French Horn, drum set). I also enjoy walking at the nearby parks when the weather is nice.

With 11 years of experience under my belt, I am trained in nearly every genre, ranging from classical to popular music. I am always up for a musical challenge!
I will provide all the music, so there is no need to buy any books.
I encourage regular practice before coming to lessons, so that each lesson is productive.
I will measure and evaluate students’ progress every month. If I see significant improvement, then I will give one discounted lesson based on how much progress has been made (I will provide a grading rubric upon the first lesson).

I give college students a discounted rate of $25 per half hour lesson [$20 online] , and $45 per hour lesson [$40 online] , and $0 cancelation fee .
