About Angel
Hi there everyone!
My name is Angel and I am a recent graduate from Richmond University in London. I have over 2.5 years direct experience teaching. Majority of my experience has focused on teaching English but I also have experience teaching and private tutoring in other subjects such as history, maths, science, writing, IT, debate and literature.
My journey in education started in 2012 when I tutored high school students in various subjects. Since then I continued to tutor and teach privately. From 2014-2016 I taught English and other courses in South Korea. I currently work as a teacher for Breaking Barriers in London helping to teach adult refugees Business English.
I believe its essential to apply different teaching approaches to different learners. I have been successful at balancing these approaches and different levels in the classroom in order to help all of my students succeed. For each of my students, I find it best to asset their level on a subject, create goals, and then find a method in which they learn best.
I enjoy learning and love to help others enjoy learning as well. This is why I decided to become a teacher. I am a hard worker and I have the ability to inspire, encourage others about subjects and about their own potential. I know that in order to succeed in a subject you also must have confidence in yourself!
