About Steve
I graduated from University of Southern California with honors in Chemical Engineering and I have been tutoring students in math, chemistry, and physics for 20 years. I have helped hundreds of students one-on-one, including children of many celebrities and very wealthy parents.

I like to start a session with whatever question is hardest for the student and make it look easy. I believe you teach by teaching. I work out every problem, showing all the steps, and gradually get the student to start solving problems too. Eventually they are solving it all by themselves. I have seen just about every variation of every problem so I can help students prepare for tests by warning them of tricky problems that might show up. That way if it does show up on a test they have seen it before and know what to do.
