About Eric
Along with a passion for teaching Latin and Ancient Greek, I have master's degrees in Classical Languages and Foreign Language Education and have been teaching and tutoring in these subjects for over two decades now. I have taught students of different ages and backgrounds and have developed the skill of adapting my teaching style to the individual student and their needs.

Tutoring, even more than teaching, is and should be student-centered. Tutors have an opportunity to get to understand their students even more thoroughly than teachers do, and so their aims ought to be to develop a sincere understanding of their students and then to help those students where they most need help. A typical first lesson plan for me to is talk through my student's concerns for their class or subject and then to make an assessment of where the student is in their learning. That allows me to formulate an overall study plan that will get the student where they want to go as quickly as possible. I have been teaching and tutoring students in Latin and Greek for over two decades now, so I have become quite adept at understanding students and helping them accomplish their goals. I tutor students from late middle school up through high school, college, and beyond.
