About Terrell
Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile. My name is Terrell Turner, and I am a professional storyboard artist with over a decade of experience in the animation industry. I have had the privilege of working with two of the largest names in the field, contributing storyboards for Nickelodeon and DreamWorks Animation on productions such as Rugrats, Star Trek Prodigy, Fright Krewe, and Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight.
I work daily in industry-standard tools including Toon Boom Storyboard Pro, Cintiqs, and Blender for 3D staging.
I take teaching seriously. Whether that is learning to draw for the first time, strengthening a portfolio for art school, or preparing for a career in animation. I offer honest, constructive feedback that helps you grow at your own pace.
Whether we meet in person or online, my goal is to give you a supportive, professional learning experience that respects your time, meets you where you are, and helps you become a stronger artist.

My teaching approach is hands-on and collaborative. I believe the fastest way to learn animation is by making it, so we spend our time together drawing, boarding, and problem-solving side by side, not just watching me demonstrate. Whether we meet in person or online, I set up the lesson so you are working through real scenes and getting immediate feedback.
A typical lesson starts with a quick check-in on what you have been working on and any homework from our last session. From there, we focus on one clear skill or challenge.
What sets me apart is that I bring over a decade of professional storyboard experience from studios including Nickelodeon and DreamWorks Animation.
These lessons are for aspiring animators and storyboard artists at any level. If you have a story you want to tell, we can find the right starting point.
