About Taha
I graduated in 2022 from McMaster University with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. I've done internships at several companies such as Citibank, Toronto Stock Exchange, and the McMaster Children's Hospital. I've also worked as a coding instructor for 1 year at Real Programming 4 Kids - a company that teaches K-12 students how to code video games! I've also been a youth mentor at my local community center for 5 years, helping students manage their education, fitness, and personal struggles. I'm extremely passionate about teaching and I'm confident I can help you learn the fundamentals of programming :)

These lessons are for complete beginners in computer programming. I believe in learning coding through practice and real projects! I start by showing the students a fully completed software project - like a game or a website. And then, we'll build it from scratch from the ground up! Students will learn all the basics of programming by building a project from scratch. Here is a typical lesson plan: - Pick 1 specific feature of the game or website - Break it down into the logical steps - Write the code to implement the feature - For example, if we're building a computer game, make the character move around on the screen without leaving the border of the screen What sets me apart? I have real world experience in the software industry - most recently, I was working at Amazon as a software engineer in the Devices team! (Think FireTV, Alexa, Kindle, etc.)
