About Maita
Hello! I’m Maita — a licensed Secondary Science Teacher majoring in General Science, with over 11 years of classroom experience in the Philippines. Teaching has always been more than just a career for me — it’s my passion and purpose. I love seeing that spark in my students’ eyes when they finally understand a concept that once felt difficult. I believe Science can be simple, exciting, and meaningful when taught in the right way. My approach focuses on breaking down complex ideas into easy, real-life explanations that children can relate to. I’m known by my students as a patient, creative, and caring teacher who always finds fun ways to make learning interactive — whether through stories, videos, or hands-on activities. My goal is to help every learner develop curiosity, confidence, and a genuine love for Science. I create a safe, encouraging space where questions are welcome and mistakes are part of the learning journey. Now based in Australia, I offer engaging Science lessons for both elementary and secondary students, online or in person. Whether your child is building foundational skills or preparing for more advanced topics, I’m here to make Science enjoyable and easy to understand.

Hi! I’m Maita — a licensed Secondary Science Teacher majoring in General Science, with over 11 years of classroom experience. I’m passionate about making Science fun, simple, and meaningful for every learner. My lessons focus on helping students understand Science concepts in the easiest and most engaging way possible. I use clear explanations, real-life examples, and short educational videos to make lessons interactive and relatable. Science doesn’t have to be difficult — I guide students step-by-step until they truly understand each topic with confidence. Each session typically runs for 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the student’s age, focus, and learning needs. I create a comfortable and supportive learning environment where questions are always welcome, and curiosity is encouraged. My lessons are perfect for elementary and secondary students who want to strengthen their understanding of General Science, Biology, Physics, or Chemistry, or who simply want to enjoy learning Science in an easy and interactive way.
