About Venice

I am a classically trained musician, who now works as a pop artist, signed with Sony Music Australia. In my hometown of Tamaki Makaurau (New Zealand), I was fortunate to have received a very well-rounded musical education, gaining accolades for my piano, singing, guitar, bassoon, and songwriting skills. With four years of experience teaching piano, guitar, and singing in both New Zealand and Australia, I am very passionate about cultivating a lifelong interest and love for music. I believe that everybody's music journey is unique and requires an approach that works for them.

About the lesson

I believe that a good understanding of music theory is crucial for a well-rounded music education. Therefore, lessons with me will include some music theory work. We would then move onto scales/technical work, focusing on finger technique and understanding scales. Finally, we would work on the chosen repertoire, and building a confident musicality.

Based on where you are at with your music journey, and what learning style works best for you, the structure of the lesson can be adapted and changed. It is very important to me that throughout the lesson there is an open channel of communication between me and the student, to ensure that your music lessons are a positive, supportive space for you.

Lessons are 30-60mins, depending on the level.
