About Anastasia
I am a professional pianist, music director and music teacher with experience as a private piano and voice teacher, and over 5 years of teaching experience in the classroom.
My favorite musical genres are musical theatre and romantic piano; I am classically trained. I also played as pianist in a jazz band throughout my high school, college years, and beyond. I have vocal training and work as a vocal coach, music directing and conducting musical productions as well. Big musical theatre nerd, here, and proud of it! Last year, my musical ensemble from Belmont High School, MA, won the Massachusetts Educational Theatre Guild Award for Best Choral Ensemble and Best Lead Actor in a Musical for our production of Little Shop of Horrors!

My teaching method is through careful explanation, demonstration, repetition and patience. I believe that everyone has music to share, and that music is a great way to relax and express yourself. It is important to me that lessons are fun, and that students are able to relax and enjoy themselves while they perform and learn. I also believe in forming a close understanding and connection with each of my students to help them to be the best they can be.
