About Carter-Quinn
Education: Master of Arts from BerkleeNYC in Writing and Design for Musical Theater. Bachelor of Music from Berklee in Music Education and Musical Theater Writing. My love for music started at age three, when I taught myself how to play "Twinkle Twinkle" on my Fischer Price xylophone. As I got a little older, I picked up piano (not literally) and fell in love. I learned how to play all my favorite pop songs, and began writing my own music. Now, I am a professional singer/songwriter, musical theater writer, and educator with 10+ years of experience teaching (piano, voice, theory, songwriting, theater, ukulele, notation). Fun Fact: I can play "Someone Like You" on the piano upside down!

I believe lessons should be fun and rewarding. I love working with people on what makes them feel happy, confident, and fulfilled! Each lesson is personally curated to fit your personal goals. Together, we can go beyond the voice and work on anything from sight-reading music, to acting technique, to songwriting.
I have experience teaching people of all ages, skill levels, voice types, and genres. (Musical Theater, Pop, Classical, Rock etc.) Neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ friendly.
