About Bryce

Hey, I’m Bryce – a professional musician, performer, and music educator based in Sydney. I’ve toured internationally with major Australian artists, worked on studio recordings for both Sydney and LA-based artists, and studied at the Conservatorium of Music, JMC Academy, and AIM. With years of experience both on stage and behind the scenes, I’ve developed a deep understanding of what it takes to thrive as a modern musician. Whether you’re working on your bass groove, learning to play guitar or exploring songwriting and arrangement, I’m here to guide you. My teaching style is relaxed, supportive, and tailored to you. Whether you're gearing up for your first gig, refining your tone and technique, or simply playing for the love of music, I’ll help you progress at your own pace. I’ve taught beginners, seasoned players, and everything in between—because I believe music education should be as individual as your sound. About the lesson

As a touring musician and studio performer with years of professional experience, I offer dynamic, personalised lessons in bass and guitar for students of all levels and ages. Whether you're picking up an instrument for the first time or refining your skills as a performer, my lessons are designed to help you grow musically and creatively.
My teaching style blends practical technique with musicality. We’ll cover essentials like rhythm, timing, finger placement, and tone shaping, while also exploring creative areas such as improvisation, arrangement, and music theory. Every session is tailored to your individual goals and musical taste, making the learning process both effective and enjoyable.
Each lesson is built around your unique progression, whether you're:
* Learning your first chords or basslines
* Writing your own bass lines/ riffs / melodies
* Building setlists for live gigs
* Jamming and playing more confidently with others
* Developing your ear or learning to read charts
For those interested in performing, recording, or breaking into the industry, I offer insights into session work, touring, gear setup, and collaboration. My goal is to help you not just play music—but discover your sound and identity as a musician.

Lesson duration: Typically 45–60 minutes, depending on your goals and preferences.
