About Henry

I have been teaching privately and in schools for 15 years. When it comes to teaching a musical instrument, I do believe that professional gigging experience as well as teaching experience is very important. My students will benefit from a targeted approach to their learning which focuses on getting them gig and ensemble ready.

About the lesson

I have played music professionally for the last 15 years, which has included regular live performances and studio recording in London as well as gigs nationwide and abroad. Within this time, I have amassed experience playing a number of different musical genres including pop, rock, blues, soul, funk, and jazz. As well as playing music I have always enjoyed teaching it and have taught beginners right up to more advanced players. I will tailor my lessons to a student's particular musical taste as well as leading them to discover new genres and artists. Along the way we will build a strong foundation in the fundamentals of music and on your particular instrument.

I teach from my house in Bromley, which has a nice music room filled with guitars, basses, amplifiers, and many music books. I am taking students of any age or level and there is a space outside the room for parents to sit while the lesson takes place.
