About Matt
I am a professional musician and multi-instrumentalist (violin, piano, and guitar). I have been playing guitar for 14 years, and started playing music at the age of 9 at the conservatory. Today I take opera singing, film music and orchestration lessons at the Paris Conservatory. I have behind me a solid theoretical and practical background from a young age (instrumental practice, improvisation workshops, and orchestra).

I play both with a pick and fingerpincking (both on electric and acoustic guitar). The objective, with this course, is to have fun, while acquiring solid theoretical bases. It is essential for a happy progression in the long term and to avoid the errors I did in my learning process of guitar. ;)
We will discuss the styles that appeal to you, with an alternation between the academic side (exercises, scales, modes, harmony), and the learning of pieces that have varied and oriented difficulties, to progress smoothly.
I can also accompany you on the piano or bass if you go to my place, so that you get used to playing with other instruments, in order to train your ear little by little. My sources of inspiration are varied and eclectic: they range from Robert Cray, to John Mayer, via Mark Knopfler, Pat Metheny, Wes Mongtomery ... I look forward to sharing my passion with you;)

I usually prefer to give lessons of 30 to 45 minutes depending on the needs of the student, for 20 € therefore (I'm not very careful about the duration of the course, which often last longer !)
