About Fakeer Official
I'm Oran, I have been working as an independent musician and teacher for the last 2 years. I started playing the guitar at the age of 10 and formally learnt music from Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music, India and Conservatorium Maastricht, Netherlands. I have learnt jazz guitar and western vocals and am now the frontman for the Jazz-hop/Neo soul project Fakeer and the Arc. I have also released music independently under the artist name Fakeer. I make sure that my classes are enjoyable - as I am a professional performing musician I try to enthuse my students to learn musical concepts and theory through the songs they like or are familiar with.
I was teaching in one of the best known music schools in Bangalore, India known as Taaqademy for the past 2 years. Over there I taught beginner students as young as 6y/o to advanced students with years of experience. I specialise in Teaching guitar improvisation in Blues, Rock and Jazz and Music theory and composition. I also teach beginner vocals and piano for people who want to start their music journey. I also proficient in teaching sight reading, ear training and can prepare you for Trinity or Rockschool grades. I don't really follow a syllabus and will teach according to the needs and interests of the students.
