About Tesana
I am a graduate of BA English Literature, who focused on retraumatisation of the Caribbean imagination through the motif, mother. For me, it is important to provide space for students to engage with literature authentically and draw their own ideas from texts.

I have experience assessing the needs of all students including SEN and incorporating EHC into Learning Support Plans to best suit students' strengths and weaknesses and learning styles. I ensure that classrooms are safe and fun spaces of learning to encourage the development of a positive relationship to learning even when challenging. I have small group, one-to-one and in-class experience including teaching Functional Skills English.
