About the lesson

I use a mix of direct instruction, discussion, practice exercises, and real-life applications to ensure the student truly understands the material rather than just memorizing it. I often incorporate tools like graphic organizers, literary excerpts, writing prompts, or grammar games to keep lessons engaging and effective.

A typical lesson starts with a brief review of previous material, followed by the introduction of new concepts or skills. We then practice those skills through guided exercises, and finish with a reflective or independent activity that reinforces the lesson. Homework or optional challenges are provided to help reinforce learning between sessions.
