About Haimi
Hello! I'm Haimi (pronounced Hi-Me), a graduate from St. John's University in New York City. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Services and a Master of Public Administration in Nonprofit Management.
With over a decade of experience in education, I've worked with various organizations such as Teach For America, KIPP, and Uplift Education. Recently, I launched my own nonprofit organization called All Roads Lead to Africa (ARLA), where I focus on fundraising in the United States to redistribute educational resources to Ethiopia and Cameroon.
As the founder of a small nonprofit, I'm seeking additional work on this platform to supplement my income while furthering my long-term goals with ARLA.
I'm thrilled about the opportunity to meet you and/or your child, and I'm eager to leverage my knowledge and teaching skills to ensure a fantastic educational experience for them!

I am a certified teacher in the State of Texas with a proven track record in teaching reading comprehension, writing mechanics, and more.
As a tutor, I will assess each student's abilities and meet them where they are by crafting individualized improvement plans with targeted and customizable goals.
