About Jane

I am a dedicated and approachable accounting and business tutor with experience supporting students at college, university, and professional examination levels. I am passionate about helping students understand subjects that may initially seem difficult by breaking complex concepts into simple, clear, and manageable steps.

My teaching experience includes working with CPA, ATD, and Statistics students at Thika Talents College, as well as privately coaching and tutoring students through CPA Navigator. I have also supported learners in Economics, Human Resource Management, Accounting, and other business-related subjects, including students from Kirinyaga University, KCA University, and Embu University.

I understand that every student learns differently, so I take time to identify areas where a learner needs support and adjust my approach accordingly. I am patient, professional, well-organized, and committed to creating a comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes, and improve without feeling intimidated.

Whether you are starting a subject from the basics, struggling with a particular topic, or preparing for an upcoming examination, I aim to provide structured guidance, practical explanations, and consistent support. My goal is not only to help students achieve better results but also to develop their confidence and ability to study and solve problems independently.

I take every lesson seriously and prepare with the student’s objectives in mind. I believe effective tutoring requires patience, clear communication, preparation, and genuine commitment to the learner’s progress.

About the lesson

My lessons are practical, interactive, and tailored to each student’s level and learning needs. I believe students understand accounting and business subjects better when concepts are explained clearly, followed by worked examples, guided practice, and exam-style questions.

I use a step-by-step teaching approach, beginning with the fundamentals before progressing to more challenging concepts. I encourage students to ask questions freely and participate throughout the lesson rather than simply listening and memorizing notes. For accounting, statistics, and other quantitative subjects, I place particular emphasis on practical problem-solving, calculations, interpretation of questions, and understanding the correct procedures to arrive at an answer.

For CPA and other professional courses, my lessons are also examination-focused. We cover important concepts, practice past and exam-style questions, identify common areas where students lose marks, and develop effective examination techniques. Where necessary, I provide additional explanations and exercises to help students strengthen areas they find difficult.

A typical lesson lasts approximately 1 to 2 hours, depending on the student’s needs, subject, and level. Lessons can be structured as regular weekly sessions, intensive revision classes, or focused sessions for specific topics.

I have teaching experience at Thika Talents College, where I have taught CPA, ATD, and Statistics students. I have also coached and privately tutored numerous students through CPA Navigator, supporting learners in CPA, Economics, Human Resource Management, and other business-related subjects. My tutoring experience includes students from institutions such as Kirinyaga University, KCA University, and Embu University.

My lessons are suitable for college, university, and professional students, including beginners who need a strong foundation, students struggling with particular topics, and learners preparing for examinations.
